Registration - Register Now
Registration is not required to access the resources provided by Bits & Bytes. If you choose to register with us, you will be able to enjoy the full benefits of the website. By registering, you will be able to submit new resources, quickly bookmark your favourite resources, share your bio and location information (optional), participate in ongoing discussions related to each resource, and quickly add any resource to a number of popular directories and social networking sites (Digg, Del.icio.us, MySpace, Google, Facebook, etc.). Prior to registering, we recommend that you review both our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

Adding Resources
Once registered, you will have the ability to add resources to the Bits & Bytes website. For detailed instructions on uploading resources, please refer to our Uploading Guide (PDF 479KB). Here's an overview of the resource types you will be able to add:

Adding Video Resources
In order to improve website and database performance, and reduce file storage, video files are not stored on the Bits & Bytes web server. You can add video resources to our website by adding an "embed" code from a video hosting service. We recommend both Viddler and YouTube. Both of these services allow you to upload your video, and will provide you with the "embed" code necessary for posting to the Bits & Bytes website. Remember, services such as Viddler and YouTube set their own policies and terms of use, and are not affiliated with Bits & Bytes in any way.
